With its oval shape, it can fit almost any area, such as the kitchen, office, living room, laundry room, bedroom, dorm room, or any open space. This durable trashcan utilizes the most advanced sensor technology found in all Nine Stars trashcans.

When your hand or debris is within a 10-inch and 130-degree angle from the infrared sensor, the lid will automatically open. The lid will remain open if debris or a hand remains within the range of the infrared sensor. Three seconds after your hand moves away from the lid, it closes automatically. The power lasts at least 6 months in normal daily usage, and batteries (not included) are required.

The trashcan includes a garbage bag ring that keeps the bag hidden from public view, providing a neat and clean appearance. If the lid does not open, you can troubleshoot by making sure the power is on, checking if the batteries are placed correctly, and wiping the sensor with a dry cloth.

The water-resistant infrared motion sensor prevents moisture or accidental spills from damaging the unit, and the finger-print resistant stainless steel base helps keep the can clean. The delay sensing technology preserves battery life and prevents unnecessary opening from pets, children, or passersby. The quiet closing function ensures the longevity of the product's life.

The touch-free motion sensor lid closure seals in odors and eliminates cross-contamination of germs. The trashcan requires 2 D batteries (not included), and alkaline batteries are highly recommended for optimal performance. The removable ring liner holds the trash bag sturdy in place and prevents the bag from overhanging, maintaining a neat and clean appearance. Users can utilize any standard trash bags or NINESTARS custom trash bags (NSTB-13-30).
